This past Easter Sunday was another new beginning at Musana Camps — It was our first community church service held here at the camp.  We have been talking about doing this for quite some time, and finally the timing seemed right.  As you can see from the picture, it was a small gathering; in fact, only our staff.  However, that is fitting as these are the people that we are with day in and day out and we desire to be pouring into them as well as learning from them.  Nathan Jackson led the service, emphasizing WHY we “do church” and teaching about the hope that we have because of Christ’s resurrection.  We ended the service with some Ugandan worship songs.  It will be exciting to see what the Lord does through these gatherings throughout the years.  At this point, because of groups that come over weekends, etc. we plan on having 2 services a month.  We pray that God’s Truth will be permeating the community through this.

We had a quiet Easter otherwise; a nice, restful time as a family.  It was exciting throughout the weekend to share with Malachi the Easter story and God’s story of redemption and life.  It definitely gave a new perspective as we tried to share these amazing truths in language that a 2 1/2 year old can understand.
