Thanksgiving dinner

Thanks to 2 turkeys that the Jacksons picked up on their way back from Kobwin, some cans of cranberry sauce that a team brought, and American-style sweet potatoes (orange inside instead of white), we had a very traditional Thanksgiving dinner…on Friday.  It was a fantastic celebration.

There were about 18 of us that gathered (all of the on-site staff) and after the meal, we had a time of giving thanks for all that God has been doing in us and in this place.  Syd had emailed a bunch of people that had previously been to the camp, asking for any feedback if they had been blessed through Musana Camps.  It was neat to hear some of the stories!  One lady from a team even said that the Lord used her time here to start her on a journey of putting her trust in Him, becoming a believer!

Syd had put together a bunch of pictures from the year.  After we watched the slideshow, most everyone took time to praise the Lord for how He had worked in their life this past year.  At the end one of our staff members led us in some impromptu praise songs.  Our house was rocking with all of the singing and drumming! J  Such a beautiful picture of giving thanks to our Father!
